Apple tv 4th gen for $159.00 + eco fees/taxes after $40 off coupons

Deal Link:
Price:
159.00
Savings:
40.00
Expiry:
March 24, 2016
There are 2 $20 off coupons that can be stacked together to take $40 off the $199.00 price for the Apple tv (4th gen 32gb ).

Thanks to Suthek for the links - see his post to get the coupons and thank him - staples-coupons-megathread-389024/2008/#post25368883.

Above links don't work - they will work if you copy and paste them into browser: [removed shortened links]

Update: You can google 'staples coupon great canadian rebate' or'retail me not staples coupon' to find a $20 off $150' coupon. I don't think these will stack.

I think the expiry date for the coupons depends when you generate the coupons - my $20 off $100 coupon had an expiry of March 24 so i put that as the deal expiry date.

edit: I always forget about ebates.ca - you can get 1% back...

Quite a bit has changed in fact, the remote is quite different, it has 32 or 64 gig of storage, better cpu, access to siri through voice talk on remote, ability to setup appletv and auto-login to your account via USB connection to your I-device/I-Phone...

Found this great article if your interested in the read. it's a direct comparison of 3rd gen vs 4th gen.

Don't forget EBATES
I was also charged a $5 ECO Fee...so it is really $164.00+tax in your province.

And you can get a kodi box for the fraction of the price of atv4 even if it can be sideloaded.

I just wish I had more access to more live streams with the kodi boxes

The coupon stacking does not work. The order seemed to have gone through. But when I went back to see it under "my orders", only one $20 coupon went through. Already called in and canceled the order.

I have both the Nexus Player (for Kodi) and an AppleTV 3 (just bought the 4 now)

They each have their benefits.
Kodi is obviously awesome for free tv and such which I use to watch movies, tv shows, etc.

The AppleTV is great because we live in an Apple Ecosystem.
Laptops, iPhones, iPads, MacMini just all work with it.
When our parents come over we can all share our pictures/videos to the TV with our iDevices.
Best of all, my 2.5 year old son can work the remote/apple tv and find his shows.

I do enjoy that i can control it from my watch/iphone too!

I had that too, until the order was submitted, then the total coupon became "-$20".
