This is just ridiculous. Please don’t for the sake of all the people carrying, shaking up and flattening your pop because you want to save $1 off the grocery store price.

I'm not sure what Staples usually charges for this product, but I consider this to be regular price practically anywhere, even at some of the more expensive stores. As for the free shipping, if you're having groceries delivered anyway or if you order Diet Pepsi instead from Amazon, you can get free shipping thiere too. Sorry, but this isn't a good price.

I sometimes buy hard to get pop/ drinks for delivery from Mr Case, it’s a bit expensive but boy does it feel good to have them bring the stuff not just to your house, but actually inside it as well.

AFAIK in most densely populated areas Staples has their own trucks doing delivery, I bet that someone delivering would be happier delivering a couple cases of pop rather than a 50lb filing cabinet or something like that.

Shoppers Drug Mart in Toronto always has 18 cans of pepsi/coke for $6.07 (it was $5.27 about 6 weeks ago). Still seems to be the best everyday price out there. Usually shown in the weekly flyer.

everything is expensive, and getting worse, the carbon tax and covid increases are hitting everything hard. not to mention rising rental and real estate costs, and labour costs.

i went to buy some peppers the other day, 4.50 a LB. Nope. no peppers this week for me.

Vegetables are very depending on the season, weather and supply.
Last week, I saw a pack of 6 at $2.99 No frills. Sometimes even less.

Coke is different, they don't cost the company to make them, the cost is more for branding, delivery cost, etc.

PSA: Don't get pop delivered. Especially in the winter. They'll leave it outside your dorr, it will freeze and explode. You're welcome.

I'm not sure where you shop but the only place where this is the regular price is Shoppers. Safeway/Sobeys regular price is $6.99 and Superstore regular price is $5.49. With Walmart you usually have to buy multiple cases for the $4.99 price point. Sadly the price of pop has increased since the start of the year and sales getting less and less for cans with sale price being $4.99 per case.

Get your facts straight before saying this is the regular price "practically anywhere". It is not. The more expensive stores are charging the more expensive prices.

is coke brand diet coke really any better than generic (PC, etc)? I don't drink much these days, but when I do I either make my own with soda stream or I buy PC brand. Also, Costco is cheaper for sure.

It is cheaper by 20 %@ Shoppers for people over 55 on Thursdays,if you use your PC Optimum card. $ 6.07 @ 20 % off is $ 4.86 + Txs. Unit Cost is 27 Cents / can.

True story. Back in university I was in the neighbour's door room sitting on a case of his home brew.
Cap shot off the bottle and got me in the ass.
