Thanks Jakemtl! can't imagine anyone thinks that you can or should be keeping the headphone if you just return the paper. You get the headphone for free upon purchasing 2 cases of copy paper. You want a refund and get your money back? You return 2 cases of paper + the headphone as you have decided to cancel the purchase. I think the receipt / invoice will have 2 cases of paper AND the head phone all listed, so if you want to refund, you would need to return the whole thing ( 2 cases of paper + a headphone).

They probably will put down $17.50 x 2 on two case of paper and 70 dollars (which is how much it lists on the website ) = total $105.

So if u return two cases of paper, u will get 35 dollars back instead of $105

That’s what they did on my invoice years ago..
Then you return the 70$ item instead. /facepalm

Is it unethical to buy paper for office and keep the earbuds? Lol

Not so easy there Ma…
Why not cause some confusion over at Staples and return only one box of paper while wearing the headphones and asking if they sell lice treatment.

Clearly not free headphones. They just jacked the cost of paper to incorporate the headphones price. What a scam.

Wow, thanks! I thought they were legitimately taking a loss and being nice people instead of trying to run a business! /s

Seriously, yeah the paper price is jacked, but if you compare paper + headphones + shipping bought at another store or even from separate stores, this deal still works out better. If you need 10,000 sheets of paper, might as well get a (not free but reduced total expense) pair of decent headphones while you're at it!

Uhhh, you clearly don't understand how paper weight works :)

To be fair, I didn't know that neither but don't blame the consumer for reading 20lb as part of the paper details and understands it as its actual weight.
