The sale is until Dec 1 so hopefully they will get some units in by then

I wonder if google store will lower their prices on their models. wouldn't mind getting one in a different colour. Stormy Black is so boring lol

goozy1 wrote: No. Not always. This time, Google was giving higher trade in values to those who pre-ordered a pixel 6. People were getting $500 for their Pixel 5. I got a trade in value of $150 for my Pixel 3Xl. That's definitely more than I can get if I sell it on Craigslist or eBay.

You would have easily gotten more than $150 for a 3XL assuming it was in good condition

Xtrema wrote: Basically goes toe to toe with iPhone 13. But TLDR:

- Photos are usually nicer on Pixel but some comes out with a bit of punchy/processed look. Some people like that, some don't, it's just a subjective metric.
- Video is better but iPhone still leads in that front. So if you are a content creator and need quick B-rolls, iPhone is still the better tool. Again, if you don't have an eye for it, it's not really that different.
Thanks I was hoping someone would mention a good option for connect creation. It's good to know B rolls are easier on iphone but I'm surprised at the pricing for an iphone 13 standard vs this pixel 6. I'm on pixel 2 xl so no updates since last year but apple still supporting those old devices.

"If you make a purchase on Google Store and the Google Store price decreases within the standard return period, you may be eligible for a partial refund to match the lower price."

What qualifies under our price protection policy?

FOR PICKUP

Location: 1750 The Queensway, Etobicoke ON, M9C5H5 Change Store
Pick up cost: FREE
Availability:1 in stock
Snatched it. But then Staples called and said it was an open box item that was returned, hence there only being one available. Going to have a look tomorrow and see if they'll knock anything else off the sale price since it's already open Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Cold Sweat

Did you end up placing an online order and receive a pickup notice and when did you place your order?

Glad I bought mine on Amazon for once. Their return window for November purchases is December 31st. Back to Amazon you go!

I placed the order online at about 8:50pm. Got the phone call around 9:10pm to say it was an open box item and received the pickup notice at around the same time.

IMO, pixel phone depreciates less than Samsung phone.

And higher resolution screen (512 ppi vs 411 ppi).
And LTPO AMOLED screen.
And 120hz vs 90hz.
And 0.2" bigger screen.
And 12 GB RAM vs 8 GB RAM.
And better selfie camera (4k@30 or 1080p@60).

Tbh none of those other than maybe the selfie camera I'd you're a professional blogger are reasons to get the phone

90hz vs 120hz is barely perceptible
8gb of ram is way more than you need on a phone even as a powe user
Higher resolution is barely noticeable on these screens and just drains the batter faster

but nearly twice the price... i'd say unless you NEED any of those features, the non pro is a better value

I don't know... You're still looking at an easy $800 for an easy $600+ for an s20

I pre-ordered Pixel 6 Pro back in Oct & still has a Dec delivery - so if it does go down for Black Friday - I'll contact Google Chat.
Looks like fewer deals on phones for Black Friday so far this year.
For Google only seen the Pixel 6 with $100 off but there's little to no stock. Pre-orders got the free Pixel Buds, higher trade-in & potential Store credit (with Google one).
I have tried the Buds & find them very comfortable. Haven't tried translation yet.
Iphone deals seem fewer so far too. iphone 13 mini seems most often quoted.

if 6 pro 900 vs 6 700, I would go for 6 pro.

if 6 pro 1179 vs 6 700, I guess no too much pixel fans will choose 6 Pro. They will take 6 or wait 2 months for S22 ultra or IP13 pro max.
