I assume it's those cursed French keyboard again.
And the resolution is 768.
Also, these CPUs are so last generation. The performance is slower than Intel's chips back 8 years ago.

Thanks. I don't really know what kind of keyboard it has. I'm shopping around for a low cost laptop for bookkeeping and correspondence. I'll keep looking... thanks!

$400 I'd say its good for an entry level with that specs. Can't beat the price for new.

400$ is pretty good for your needs here. You wont find anything better really for this price point.

The screen is a deal breaker. You want something 13-14inches for that resolution.
I got my Dell 1080p A12-9700P for $493(made a thread about it). And it isnt a bilingual keyboard.

Resolution is subjective to Joe User. Someone looking for basic laptop as Chef was probably dont care about res.

Right, and an SSD would really help as well with the performance.

Resolution should almost go in the title if less than 1080p. I'm guessing most people could skip the thread.

@GrilledLeek- Try calling your local outlet because at the bottom of the web page it says "only available in store".

Debatable unless they have seen better they wont know what they are missing. Kids at 400$ a pop, you wont get an ssd, latest generation and high resolution touchscreen with 6gb+ ram.

Maybe I am biased. But I don't think HP laptops will last long. I know 2 people whose HP laptop died on them within 2-3 years. They aren't built to last.

You can add Gateway laptops to that list too.

I would get Acer well before considering HP.
Best shopping deals I got from here:
Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom $300, ZTE Blade V8 Pro $175, Fluld 55' 4k TV $360
