What? These support 10...

I have about 8 of these I bought them from a refrubisher directly a year or so ago for about $200 each. They had 2600k, 500gig hd, and 8 gigs ram. Decent cpu not the best but great desktop for friends/family and decent little server boxs.

I have a very similar Dell XPS with the i7-2600. Still holds up extremely well today, added in a GTX1050 as a dedicated card and I'm able to play most games no problem

Sigh. I don't understand members in this forum anymore. I thought a decent refurb. i7 at less than $400 is at least a warm deal. I would buy one if I need one. This does not deserve a -3 vote. I would save anything I found to myself instead of posting here from now on.

Also, those who said what not supported what or you could get better with what, please post with a link for reference or proof. Those are the ones that should receive a down vote.

I was using a 2500k with win 10 until very recently, even older processors support it.

Am actually looking for a good refurb to replace my aging PC. This one fits my budget - I might actually pick one up if I can find my staples coupon...

Thanks!

I didn't down vote you, but this took me 3 minutes to find.

I'm positive there were better deals during the eBay 20% and 15% sales.

I personally picked up a Haswell generation i7 with 16gb of ram, and a 128gb ssd for 240$. (Dell Optiplex SSF)

If anyone is interested, I will sell you a similar system (custom build) for $300 all in.
The motherboard is OEM from an XPS 8300 system, all other parts are custom.
I will list the parts if you are interested. I will deliver within Scarborough and Markham.
I might throw in a GTX 660 for $50 extra.

The i7 you're posting about is 6 generations old.

Who cares about upvotes and downvotes anyways?

You can't downvote posts anymore so people have to get their kicks somewhere else.

Hi Keny,
The RFD community is a bit weird with downvotes aren't they!
I totally understand where you're coming from but here's my take.
If the deal is decent, and you get a bunch of downvotes, you probably end up getting way more upvotes as the nice RFD'ers will upvote to offset the downvotes (when they wouldn't normally have upvoted)

The goal of RFD is to share deals and not to get upvotes. Even if your post has helped a single person it is a well deserved post.

Ppl downvoted because they can hide behind a monitor. Don't mind them. I'll give you an upvote just for sizzle and giggle.

This is WAY to old to be worth $400.
