I'm 5'11 as well and it depends on how you sit - a little lower in the seat (butt a little forward) and the headrest is just a smidge above my shoulders; worst case scenario: take the headrest off :-)

I am 6 feet and the head rest isn't the greatest. When laying back, it is kind of uncomfortable at the head, other than that, it's been a good chair.

I would strongly recommend anyone to try one of these out in store first if you got a staples nearby. Personally, it feels a bit small and its not just a height issue, but i also feels the seat could use a little more depth, but i guess that depends on the size of your ass.

I bought this chair intending to mod it...but I just left it off and its fine. I cant imagine working on my computer with my head back being very comfortable anyways.

Biggest issue is that the Ikea chair is less adjustable.
Anyone have opinions on foam seat vs mesh seat? Am I the only one that thinks foam is more comfy on the butt?
