Ryzen 3 4300u may not be as powerful as other AMD powered laptops posted here but is still a decent deal imo

Always good to see more Ryzens in the game Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

And .. don't forget Rakuten 1%

Save another $25 with coupon code 75019 during checkout. (credit to echlon )

For those that may not be aware, Ryzen 3 4300u is more powerful, uses less power, and runs cooler than a Ryzen 5 3500u. So don't avoid it just because it's a Ryzen 3...

Not a bad deal, but not the best either. I got the same laptop with ryzen 7 4700u for 50$ more than this one.

Good price but not hot deal. Upvoted. Who can tell me why it's so ugly comparing to its brothers 4500u and 4700u in the same Flex 5 family? Really suspect the wrong photos on Staples.

Which deal was that?

Looks like all AMD Lenovo flex and ideapad laptops are slowly disappearing everywhere and Lenovo is trying to shift crappy intel CPUs at double the $$$

The deal is dead, it was about 3-4 weeks ago on Lenovo website. They were all sold out 1-2 days after I bought it. The deal was a combination of promotion+extra discount+coupon+Rakuten 10%.

Plus, for some unknown reason (maybe just wrongly written), the laptop was 3.3 lbs compared to the one on staples and came with a fingerprint reader which doesn't seem to be on this one.

Only the 2nd one (Dell 14" Laptop - Black (Intel Core i5-1035G1/512GB SSD/8GB RAM/Windows 10)) is kinda comparable as it is 14".
Lenovo:
+ IPS screen vs VA screen
+ Touch screen / 2-in-1 vs Regular screen
+ Bigger battery: 52.5 Wh vs 42 Wh
~ Slightly lighter 3.6 lbs vs 3.73 lbs

Dell:
+ Card reader: Yes vs No
+ Bigger storage: 512GB vs 256GB
~ Slightly faster cpu: i5-1035G1 7991 Passmark vs Ryzen 3 4300U 7826 Passmark

250 nits display...300 would have been ideal...250 nits equates to a dim display, maybe just enough for indoor use...the intel model at bestbuy is even worse at 220 nits
