Lenovo S145 Laptop for $499 (was $399 for BF)

I'm looking to get a 15.6" sub $500 laptop for my wife. It'll mostly just be for surfing, maybe some youtube, office etc. Just wondering what people think of this laptop at this price?

15.6-inch LED display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution
2.6 GHz AMD Ryzen 3 3200U processor (5 MB cache)
8 GB DDR4 RAM system memory
256 GB Solid State Drive storage
Windows 10 Home operating system pre-installed
Integrated Radeon Vega 3 graphics
WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity
Ports: 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, HDMI, Headphone/Microphone-combo
2-Cell 35 WH Lithium Polymer battery with Up to 4.5 Hours runtime

Not the best runtime, but processor and screen seem decent for the price. I'm just wondering if this is good, or if anybody knows of any better deals for similar laptops with the requirements stated above in mind?

Edit: I should also add that there may be some Solidworks, but we have a decent I7 as a main pc she can use for this, but would be nice.

Edit 2: Couldn't find a link to the deal itself, but 2kfire is better than I:

5th one down under "One Day Deals"
Edit: The price has now risen to $499 :(

Too bad the battery is quite small.

Otherwise, that's quite good specs.

This looks good, but I'm not seeing the listed price (I realize odds are good that'll not be that price until Friday, but can you point me to somewhere that indicates the timelines of when this will happen?)

Thanks!

If you don't mind the small battery, this the best deal so far for this blackfriday.

If this is just a travel-with and plug in laptop to MS Office it up, then this is a no brainer if you need it.

For you OP, I would want a little more RAM if she is doing SolidWorks, but processor should be fine?

I'm also looking for a cheap laptop that comes with a SSD, this one has a 256 gb SSD which is pretty good for a sub $500 laptop... but the Bilingual Keyboard is a deal breaker for me =/

The picture in the ad doesn't look like a bilingual keyboard. Do they often change those things out?

How does this Staples S145 compare to THIS model at Costco?
Which should I buy for my wife to browse Internet, email, basic stuff, etc. No gaming.
Thanks.
