Linksys Velop 2200 wifi mesh 3 pack for $149 [AD print error?]

Model number seems to link to one pack - I doubt they’ll ship three.

Is the three pack, link shows W0301, for sure a typo that probably won’t be caught but won’t cause a three pack to get shipped.

Read it again. The reviewer didn't say what you think he/she said.

Staples won't ship the 3 pack.... item number is for the 1 pack. Staples is not Amazon.

The way I read it is that he purchased a 3 pack and then one extra. I am gonna give it a try.

I'm banking it's a single model. If you go to the page up in site directory, you'll see several models put "2 pack" or "3 pack" next to the price.

That being said, the product title from staples is not correct as a "3-pack".
If you order, you're banking that the warehouse will pack you a product based on the product title description and not the item description.

The part number is for a single. The descriptive text says it is a 1 pack. Even the URL says 'single'.

If you order it you will likely get a single and then have to return it. They will ship based on the part number.

Here we have a title error. If we are looking at the manufacturer web site address for the product we will find that:

for 3 (three) units: https://www.linksys.com/ca/p/P-WHW0303/

But then again why in this freaking world a customer should be a Sherlock Holmes to find these errors made by the merchant and why the customer should pay for this? Merchant should pay!

If a customer is going to a brick and mortar store, find 3 identical products, and put them in his basket, go to the self-checkout and pay for one only (because he has misread the price tag) thinking is 3-for-1 and try to get out from the store and merchant catch him, who should pay for the rest of two? The merchant or the customer? That is what I am saying - the errors should be paid out by those who caused them!

You KNOW the merchant will ship the part number - and you will have the option of returning the item. THIS merchant in particular has a track record in dealing with errors that you can pretty much bank on. About the best you can probably expect from Staples will be a $10 credit.

Better to try PMing with Best Buy.

Most probably a waste of time to do that.

I’ve clarified that this is probably a print error.
I believe if you just place an order online, 99% likely you will get just 1 unit. And the chance you get them honour it is also little but if you really want a deal like this badly you can still try.
As a guy above mentioned, you might have a better chance to slip trough a PM with some nice CS from another retailer. I have had 4 unit being used at home, otherwise, I would give this a try.

Another way to understand is staples is selling WHW0301-CA x3 in a wrapper.

Even if it was a 3-pack, is it actually even hot?

Not here to comment on the price but just on the system itself. I find this product to be absolute trash. I bought into the VELOP system 2 years ago and regret it. I have a 3 node setup, but all my devices force connect to the main node no matter location. Upon doing research, this is an issue plaguing many other users. Making this product quite useless because there is no point to having multiple nodes. I could have 50 of them and still it only connects to one. For anyone considering this product, I would highly recommend a different mesh system.

I still feel like there is one despite the rep saying this, don't know if its worth the gamble.

How does this one compare to the TP LINK M4 that is on sale at the same price?
