Heavier and the sensor is nowhere as good. I use both daily side by side for work/personal

The scroll wheel on the 720 is way better though and you can connect via bt whereas G305 is dongle only.

I don't have experience with G305, but based on my research, both are very good. I tried to order the G305 when it was on sale, but it was out of stock every where. I want to try it in Best Buy but they didn't have any on display.

Regular comment/complaint I see is that the G305 is pretty small even for folks with regular sized hands

I got the G903 from the sale a few days ago, overall I'm quite happy with it. Only downside is the battery life is pretty low compared to the G305 and the newer G903.

That's the reason I want to try it in store, everyone has different hand size and holding style. It is good for someone doesn't means good for me.

250 hours is at 1000 polling rate of constant use. I own the G305, use it 2-3 hours per day at 500 polling rate, battery lasted 14 months with AA alkaline Duracell battery. You can further reduce the polling rate to 250 or 125 to save more on battery life. Mouse also auto goes to sleep when not in use.

I bought this mouse a week ago and find it really small and inconvenient to use. I have medium/small sized hands and still it doesnt fit in my palm.

Im waiting for G502 to go on sale as that is the best mouse that fits me.

Agree on this, g502 is just the right size for me as well. Extra buttons great for gamibg too.
