People are kind of desperate, the price is close to doubled than before...
I almost not sure if this is RFD anymore, where we only buy things when there is a good deal.

Be careful with Staples. On March 15 I ordered a back of six disinfectant wipes along with other supplies. Other supplies came without the wipes. I contacted staples several times each time I was assured it was on its way. Finally just last Thursday was advised that they took more orders than they had stock so I would not be getting any and that the order was cancelled. Pleaded and pleaded with them to keep the order active until the next shipment but they declined stating their system is not programmed to do that. They also declined my request to escalate it to a manager as they are overwhelmed.

Awful retailer

What's your point?
Online is out of stock and the item is not sold in the store. Does it matter if you are in Alberta or Nova Scotia?

It showed out of stock for me. As soon as I punched in my postal code, which is in Alberta, and selected a store , it showed available for delivery.

Perhaps people use them to wipe the products they have just purchased from the grocery store or they are just being cautious and vigilant about contracting COVID-19 as certain provinces haven't conducted enough testing.
