Not good at all for the airplane.
That won't cut any noise and will sound bad anyway.
You might as well use what the airline will supply.
e-waste.

If you want to cut out plane noise, you need something that goes into the ear or something that covers it properly.

Just as a reference point, worth $4 US Walmart.com
