[Staples] Motorola Smart Safe (Bolt/Flex) Pick Up Only $37.48

Motorola Bolt or Flex Smart Safe. Used more as a deterrent than an actual "safe" safe, as it can just be ripped out. Great deal if you can get it at this price. Get additional 25% with coupon code 87447.

Regular price $129.97, other retailers selling for $179.

Doesn't appear to be available for shipping so if you can grab one locally, then score, if you're looking for one.

I know this is not on sale but 45lbs plus the contents will make it difficult for someone to just grab and take it compared to a dinky portable 4lb safe.

Fire Protection: UL Classified to protect in a fire for 1/2 hour up to 1550-degreeF (843-degreeC)

They say "fireproof" you would expect it to resist a house fire.. 1550 degree for 30 min wont be any good at all for a house fire lol

Wouldn't call that a "Safe", it looks more like a personal smart-locker.
Maybe good for keeping some things away from the kids. See very limited cases where this makes a lot of sense, and I guess thats why they're already heavily discounted.

Something is better than nothing. How many people just have their passports, money, jewellery etc. just lying around in their closet exposed?

I think it’s used to prevent sketchy roommates or nosey kids from messing with your stuff without your knowledge. Obviously it isn’t intended to prevent theft of property as anybody could just walk off with it. Seems decent for this price.

bought one, love the quality. Like few mentioned, not fire proof or all metal, but for this price, it is more than good enough to keep few important items/documents

It could be used as a container to put inside a real safe. ;)

For $37 it'd make a good decoy safe. Throw a 10-pound weight in there so the thief thinks he's getting something.

Love the picture of the safe mounted on the wall in plain sight.
