[Staples] The Original+ Backpack clearance $26.07

These are currently on clearance at staples for $26.07

Another model was previously posted for $14.87 but is sold out at staples.

I believe the major difference is Original+ has Premium split leather straps and a leather handle lined with felt

Currently selling for $59.96 on Amazon and Walmart

In case anyone else is wondering, both backpacks (the $14.87 one) are the same dimensions at 18" x 12" x 7".

Ordered one but it’s not as good a deal as the $15 deal that sold out fast. Will decide later whether or not to keep it.

Also got the 14.87, but I find it small for my taste. But hey, for 14.87 I shouldn't complain Face With Tears Of Joy

Its a small pack but does look interesting.
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburders eat people

But they're the exact same bag apart from the straps are they not?

I ordered the $15 and $26 ones and the only difference I've found is the leather straps and handle.

Edit: Looking closer I found out logo was metal was well

Ship to your closest staples and it'll be free shipping if you don't want to spend $45+

Is it worth the extra $11 to you? Would jump on it if it was a little bit bigger than the original.

If you're colour isn't available sure but otherwise no. Interior is the exact same design with a what I'd assume is a Waterproof lining which I wasn't expecting.

i like all the colours.. but not having a side mesh for that waterbottle...do i need to take the backpack off every time I want some water?

I guess it just doesn't match the style or look good.

Those $7.77 backpacks that staples had earlier this week were killing the game like Kawhi

Yup. Just the overall look makes it more attractive imo

I received mine today. Super fast shipping considering I ordered it yesterday. Overall very nice backpack. Exactly what I was looking for. Some notes, the inside of the backpack isn't blank (like the picture from staples shows, below), mine actually has a design on it (like in the Patriot, 2nd image below), but it's of an atlas map. Also no "Canada Map label" on it, mine has a library-like tag to write the "The Original Owner" on it.

As for the $11 price hike. Yea probably not worth it if you want cheap and can get ur colour. Although it says its genuine leather straps. So if the non-plus isn't real leather, it's like they put an $11 belt on the backpack and that's where most of the $11 hike comes from. So I can see why it would be a bit more expensive.

As for my use. The size (18"x12"x7") is almost the exact size that Flair Air allows as a "Personal Item" (17"x13"x6", stored under the seat). Volume-wise they are pretty much the same. I hope its okay. Which is why I was looking for just a simple "bag" backpack of this size (not many pockets or other compartments which ultimately take more space in fabric between compartments). This will allow me to maximize my luggage amount in the main compartment, and still stay (roughly) in the Flair Air dimensions. And hopefully don't have to pay those exorbitant carry-on luggage fees.

It's split leather/suede, what's left after you remove the tough upper layer, ie what makes leather a useful and strong material. It's pretty fragile and can tear easily if you are rough with it. Nylon straps would be a good bit stronger than split leather straps. Nylon would fare better in the rain too
