[Staples] Possibly "price error" MSI Katana GF66 15.6 for $1149.99 ($350 savings)

Staples flyer showing 1499.99. Website shows 1149.99. Possibly a price error . Not in gaming myself, but thought can be beneficial to somebody else.

RTX 3050 with i7 11th gen for $1.1k
If you REALLY need one, why not.
But I'd personally wait for this Christmas with the advent of Zen4 and Raptorlake.

EDIT: Rembrandt is also a very good APU, and they'll be releasing this year, so perhaps even waiting 4-5 months will net you an APU that is up to 2x better at gaming then previous APUs: https://www.pcmag.com/news/rembrandt-un ... or-laptops

Last christmas was 2 weeks ago and you're already waiting until next christmas? are you sure that next christmas it won't be better to wait until the christmas after next christmas etc?

What are the thoughts on MSI Laptops? I've been looking for a gaming laptop recently, and from what i can tell, the build quality kind of sucks on them. though, i have have no personal experience.
Also, i agree, i wouldn't be paying that much for a 3050 myself, but prices are now post-boxing day deals for the most part. I have heard a lot of mention that these laptops should reduce in price in the next month or two, with the new batches of models coming out. I'd hold out and wait a bit.
