When you mention Samsung phones plummet in price, are you referring to the used market or the new market?
I always have trouble finding good discounts on new Samsung devices sold through legit channels.

Although I often see international models being sold for fairly low prices on Amazon, these units don't come with warranty (neither manufacturer nor credit card extended) and they generally do not support Samsung Pay as you are outside the native region.

If you find good discounts can you please share, thank you

Wish it could be for 96 months, just like my Korean car loans.

North American carriers don't sell dual sim versions of phones and they also sell roaming plans so they'd be shooting themselves in the foot offering something like that.

Where is the s10 plus cheaper than msrp right now? Ignoring contract agreements.

Literally Staples lol

$1419.99 on for $1269.99 and you can stack the 10% off code to bring it down to $1142.99. The $1269.99 is a Samsung sale (it's on their site too) but the 10% is Staples-only.

Ah ok. It isn't anything crazy. It's $277 off msrp, the note 10 plus is $145.99 off, but comes with the earbuds, so that closes the gap depending on how much the earbuds are worth to you, but they're easily worth the difference of $132.

Expect a call from them to confirm with you that you put the order in since it's a rather large purchase.

So last year, when I purchased the note 9, I was able to send my old phone to Samsung several weeks after my purchase. They sent a $200 cheque I believe, or maybe a prepaid MC, I don't remember exactly. The promo began in September, and anyone who purchased in August were able to take advantage.
Hi
Which kind of Phone (flip or a recent) you should send them To receive 200$ credit from Samsung?

Welp just got confirmation from a samsung chat that the note10+ is single sim. That kills all my interest in upgrading... Now I just need to decide if I can possibly resell this for any profit, or if I should just cancel. I find it hard to believe anyone would pay say 1550$ for it brand new in box, but technically thats a decent discount compared to new without this 10% thing.

And then the question becomes, how hard is it to go over the border and buy a new unlocked phone? Really want dualsim.

The last 2 years, Samsung Experience Stores had sales about 4 to 6 weeks after the launch. I bought my Note 8 and Note 9 for $400 off retail. Usually the sale is $200 off and another $200 for trade in phone. Trade in phone needs to power on and be with a Canadian carrier. Last year I lucked out because I got an additional $100 off when the Iphone lauched and Samsung offered $300 off instead of $200 off retail price for the iPhone weekend launch. Samsung offers 15 day price protection so I was within that period. So for my purchase I got $500 off. Note that the $200 trade in is AFTER tax, so it is a straight $200 discount and not $224 in BC.

Firstly you should always do research before a purchase like this.

Secondly majority of phones that are sold from carriers and retailers in north america will only have one sim, it's in the best interest of carrier to have one sim as that 'forces' you to get a roaming plan from them.
