It does but searching the model number leads you to Samsung website which indicates USB A. Samsung used to pair this charger with micro USB but has now updated/replaced the included cable to be USB a to USB c (based on description/title)

It's only 10W! This is the Samsung charger from 15 years ago. The last deal on RFD was $12 for the 25W one.

10 Watts is 2 Amps. It's better for your battery life than a fast charger. :)

I use a 1 Amp charger for my phone and AccuBattery says my battery health is at 98% after 3 years of daily charging.

This is true. I guess it's a matter of whether you want a longer battery life (with slow charging) or a fast charge. My pixel 3 that I have been using for 3 years has 90% battery health from Accubattery. I normally charge up to 95% before I pull the plug. The recommendation is to pull the plug @ 80% for best battery health over the long run but that may not be feasible for everyone.

Yep, it's a balance between battery life and convenience. If you change your phone every 2 years, don't bother; do whatever is most convenient. But ideally, one should aim for recharging at 40% and pulling the plug at 70%. But that's hardly feasible. Avoiding the daily plugged overnight charging to a full 100% might be the easiest thing to avoid for a better battery life.

Not if you wanna keep your batteries for a long time IMHO.

Most of my stuff are charged overnight, so I really don’t need fast (and stressful) charging.

Once you've tried the 21st century fast chargers, you will throw these 10w chargers away

Depends how often you drain your phone and how often you replace. Fast chargers will murder battery life over 10W ones.

This is a Samsung fast charger though, even if it's an older one there's no way it's just 10W. It will be Quick charge 2.0 at minimum (18W).

I've never used the app and just downloaded it. Seems neat. Worth it to go pro?

There are better chargers in amazon if it’s 10w you’re interested in
