Last time I ordered something from Staple, it took them 2 weeks for the ISPU. I will just keep my fingers crossed.

What is the difference between this external drive and those bare drives? I plan to take it out from the case and mount it in a laptop with secondary bay. Any concern?

Also I thought Seagate's reliability has come down, compared to WD?
Not sure, I added it to my cart, entered my work email signed out as a guest and applied the code.

Just waiting for ISPU email.

I wouldn’t use Seagate as my primary drive, it will likely die.

But bought 1 for ISPU.

I have 8 seagate 2.5" drive in the past 6-7 years, none failed.
On 3.5" drive I had one seagate 1.5tb failed, and a WD 3tb failed over the past 5 years.
So I will not say anyone is better or sub-par

Just placed an order for pick up. I had keep on shuffling between the stores till I got one that had it stock, the red X will turn to a green check mark.

Ordered last night for ISPU, called today, they said they only had 3 units and had over 50 orders, and my order has been cancelled.

+1 Great deal for Staples to get all our emails for free to spam.

Check to make sure this isn't a frankendrive. WD has been soldering the USB control board onto their drives for years, and you can't shuck them to use internally. I
I'm not up on the latest news, and Seagate may have started this practice as well.

Saw the deal today RFD and ordered at Staples website for in store pickup. Code worked like charm.

Not in stock at store close to my home but available at Airport/Queen location in brampton.

Just ordered at 11:51 and got the pickup confirmation at 12:02.

Will pick tomorrow morning.

Just picked up mine - ordered last night and got the ready for pickup email this morning. Plugged it in USB 3.0 and copied a large MKV - 130 MB/s write speed - not bad for a $35 drive

How’s everyone still able to add to the cart? I’ve tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Still unable.

Oh well.
