Is this external hard drive fast enough to work well with the xbox one?

I also get an error when I try to generate a code from the email I received from Staples.

Nice deal! Bought these on two occasions.. I love how easy it was to crack open the case.

If you go this route, make sure you test the drive using usb first before you tear it down. I had one that was DOA and had to exchange it.

Was able to get the $20 off code using Incognito mode in Chrome and turning off cookies. Just clicked on the reveal the code as "open in new incognito tab" and generated 30 tabs. Almost all were $5 except for one $20 and one $10 that I gave to a friend.

I ended up order with $10 off instead of waiting for $20. Needed a new external for my Plex set up.

How reliable is this drive?
Review seems not very trustable.
Maybe all drives today are the same quality?

5400 rpm smr drive. Its not something you want to use for large small files continuously. Archiving, media server you would be fine. But if its a media server? 24/7 use? Better to somehow cool it. Maybe shuck it. which I believe these can.

I might shuck them and add them to my new nas box.
