Upvote to you for posting and letting us know.

But downvote to Staples for having nothing good to buy INV the clearance section. I went through all 23 pages.

The flyer says save an additional 25% off in-store and online. Maybe your local store put out something good from their clearance section.

Thanks but this is now OOS.

Just happened to be at a staples to pick up a online order. Took a look at the tech section. Nothing interesting but my kid saw a pair of headphones which were on clearance for about $10 plus the discount and wanted them. She tried them on at home and didn’t want them anymore.

Checked out both downtown Vancouver locations:
  • Burrard/W Georgia: Nothing interesting.
  • Seymour: Slightly more, but still nothing interesting. Maybe if you're looking for a D-Link Powerline kit ($59.99 before 25% for the 1000, $99.00 for the 2000, both with passthrough).
No gaming headsets, keyboards, and what they do have in their clearance section was largely overpriced to begin with barring a few specific things.

you mean CD-R?
those are recordable CD, usually can write only once
used to be popular back in the days before spotify which a lot of people use to "backup" their music collections.

Sorry man. It was a weak attempt at humor on my part.

Sweeeeet. I was going to pick up a smart scale this boxing day, decided on the fitbit aria air because it was 50. Lacks the whole body fat measurements part but I preferred it over the cheaper 25$ Renpho that needs your location all the time. Google already has that so fitbit may as well. But!!! Staples had the withings body cardio which is one of the priciest smart scales around in the liquidation cabinet so I grabbed two and managed to snag em at 90 plus 25 percent off. Seeing as they retail for 150 plus, getting 2 for that price is awesome!

They also had the fitbit charge 2 and the fitbit alta HR at $99, so $75 and tax after discount. Any of them worth at that price?

My local Staples had the iHome iSP6WC SmartPlug in stock. This is a handy little Wifi plug that has worked well in both my Wink and SmartThings ecosystems.

It's sticker price is $24.97, but scanned at $14.97 - 25% = $11.23 at that price, I'll go back and get more.

I believe I saw an in-store sign that said the extra 25% does not apply to "computer hardware" including laptops, monitors, tablets... although with Staples, it's always YMMV and they might do it anyways.
