Is the 'WD Elements 2TB Portable External Hard Drive with SanDisk 16GB USB Drive Bundle - $89.00 (regularly $99.00)' any good?
I have heard WD is more reliable then Seagate.
Looking for an affordable good reliable HD for backing up data. For my use it would be turned on for approx 6hrs a day for everyday then put back into my bag. Thanks in advance

The lowest price for that was $79.99. At $89.00 it's still a good price, especially if you have a coupon to use on it (i.e. $25 off $75).thedealhunter2000 wrote: ↑ Is the 'WD Elements 2TB Portable External Hard Drive with SanDisk 16GB USB Drive Bundle - $89.00 (regularly $99.00)' any good?

WD is generally seen as more reliable than Seagate, but WD solders on their usb port, so if something goes wrong with the usb port or the HD itself, it will be difficult for you to recover your data, whereas with Seagate you can take the HD out of the external and recover your data more easily.

Reliability differs depending on the specific drive. In general it’s true but some specific Seagate drives actually out perform WD. Overall it makes more sense to research the specific drive. In the case of 2.5” I actually recommend Seagate due to not having any issue with them (bought due to price).thedealhunter2000 wrote: ↑ Is the 'WD Elements 2TB Portable External Hard Drive with SanDisk 16GB USB Drive Bundle - $89.00 (regularly $99.00)' any good?
