[Staples] Staples Hyken Mesh Task Chair $199.99

The infamous chair is back on sale
Was browsing for a new chair and remembered this one being posted on RFD a while back

While 199.99 is decent, (I’ve seen it on sale for ~150)
Does any have any coupon codes or other deals to stack with this to bring the price down?

Reason: added price to title

It needs to be at $145-$150, but this is progress.

Folks will remember, I'm a proponent of this chair.

Like I said, I’ve seen it at 150 before but was hoping that someone knew of another coupon or deal to stack on top of the sale to bring the price down

I bought this exact chair for $144 in the fall. Even cheaper with coupons from the Staples thread.
If you can wait, you can get it cheaper. It's an OK chair. A nice Steelcase unit would be much nicer, but much more expensive.

Last week, when i visited Staples to buy myself a chair, the salesperson suggested holding out till May when they are going to have a 'Chair Event' where most of the chairs especially Hyken goes on sale for 50%.

Regularly goes on sale for ~150 with those coupons/deals, I would wait for that instead. Also it is not meant for tall people so watch out if you're 5'10 or over (the headrest will dig into your shoulders).

The chair sale seems like an annual thing. I got my Hyken for $130ish last May.

This is true. ~$150 - ($20 or $30 coupons) is a much better deal than $199-coupons. These go down to $150 every 3 months or so for the last 2 years, so no rush for anyone

Good idea. We had some fun in summer 2018 when these chairs came out.

If anybody in the Vancouver area wants one right now, I can sell mine for $140. It’s assembled, pretty much brand new, and just sitting in my storage. I’m 5’10 and I’ve modified the headrest (flipped it upside down) so it doesn’t dig into the shoulders. DM if interested

I will only buy chairs from Costco. I don't have time or patience dealing with Staples when the chair starts falling apart within a year.

Got this chair last August, and already it's starting to fall apart lol There are little pegs that let you set the incline, and those pegs snapped off when I got up once, and I can't set it to the most upright position anymore.

Wish I'd done that. What are the problems when dealing with Staples? So I know what to expect.
"signature removed for rule violations" Hell ya, that's what we do! 😝
