I paid something similar for my "gaming" chair and while I don't like gaming chairs I do think this is good value. Probably get one for the girlfriend. Thanks OP. Been on the hunt.

This is a pretty decent price given the 4D armrest adjustment, class 4 gas lift, steel frame (a lot of cheap ones are plastic), and high density foam.

Actually, going to the manufacture's website, they have a very similar model for $279.99 as well: https://karnox.ca/products/legend-vs-edition

One thing to note about buying chair from Staples is that if you don't like the chair, you can return it within 30 days, without taking the chair apart.

For anyone whom is interested, many Staples has this chair pre-build in store, so you can try it before making the purchase. For things like chair, no matter how good or expensive it is, if it doesn't fit one's body type, it is not very good.

And just to clarify myself from previous post, the chair's base seems to be plastic while the frame is mostly steel. This is a bit disappointing, given the "regular price" of the chair is $429.99. Most chair above the $350+ range has either steel or aluminum base (it is more sturdy than plastic).

Picked this chair up yesterday and assembled it. Coming from someone who has only ever had cheap office chairs, this thing feels amazing. The build quality seems really good as well.

I like the look of these gaming chairs and the potential to lean back with the high back, but all of these gaming chairs seem to have a very small seat. The seat width is only 41cm which seems rather small. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0013/ ... 1526054772
Did a quick measure of my thighs when seated and they're bigger than 41cm across, which makes me concerned i'd feel very squished.
I also sometimes sit kind of in an L shape. (one leg flag against seat, the other leg vertical)
Any one have any experiences on the seat comfort and size?

Not in the same league as Secretlab (I have the Omega). The construction feels a bit cheaper - ie. plastic base vs. steel, but for the $279.99 price, it is really not bad.

Agreed - this is an issue for people whom like to sit cross leg. For that case, you may want to consider the Secretlab Titan chair, but that's like 2x the price and many weeks of delivery delay.

Ahh! Yes! That is like the first chair I've seen that is a "gaming chair", but actually has a flat seat without the sides coming up.
Now....if that was $280, I would buy it. :D
