Somebody needs to tell Starbucks that McDonald's hamburgers are "handcrafted" too...

“Handcrafted”?
Dunno how else you would label it... Someone's gotta pull those espresso shots and mix your drink

There’s no need to label it as such. It’s a given. This is just pretentious.

Burger King's "flame broiled" Whopper isn't pretentious?

How about McDonald's McCafe Signature Blend Premium Roast Coffee? Or maybe a McCafe specialty coffee made with Rainforest Alliance Certified Espresso 100% fine Arabica beans?

It's all just marketing.

No, not really. At Starbucks you can customize a drink so many different ways. Pretty sure 1 or 2 requests for a hamburger customization will get McDonalds workers up in arms.

On the last 50% off event, when we added our espresso item to cart on the mobile app, you have to scroll down and click the 50% off Apply button.

Before that, when added to cart and ready to check out, the 50% would apply automatically.

It took a few of us at the office to figure that out lol so fyi

you have to be a member but you dont have to pay with a register card.
You just need to scan your card from the app then you can pay with your regular credit debit or cash

Thanks for clarifying.... they usually want people to pay with a registered card, but it looks like this time you should only scan the card

The thing is, if you want to combine that with a bonus stars offer, it needs to be paid with a registered card or the card in the app.

E.g., I have an offer for 100 bonus stars for purchasing any mocha and a Caramel Frappuccino. I'll buy the mocha at Happy Hour to double dip.

Every time I see a thread about starbucks I think two things to myself.

1. I must be one of the only people who still makes their own coffee in the morning and brings a travel mug and thermos to work.
2. I need to work on my Starbucks order -- on the rare occasion I go, I only ever get a tall dark roast, no room.

How? A venti is around $6 (grande costs like 50 cents less), which makes it around $3 with BOGO. Maybe it's better it if you don't have someone to share it with.
Fair point!! Welcome to my world.
