The teas came out Tuesday but the stores had already received stock last week. The new matcha is *FINALLY* truly unsweetened!

Can someone who's had their regular tea lattes comment on how sweet they are? Looking to try one on Friday but not sure if I should ask for less syrup.

I usually only get half sweet vanilla latte.

I can't seem to find any info on the new matcha. How do you know its finally unsweetened? The starbucks app tells me a grand has 54g of sugar

54g is the original version. If you get the matcha latte unsweetened it's very earthy. Half sweet is not as sweet as before. My usual Starbucks got the new matcha last week.

Do you recommend unsweetened or half sweet for someone who doesn't like sweet drinks?

I tried half sweet matcha and barely got through half of it. Has a fishy/seaweedy aroma and taste.
