Stat Pay for internal transfers

The company I work for front loads 10 stat days for the year where by we can use them any time throughout the year like vacation days. My stat days hours were calculated based on 9.25 hour days. Recently I transferred to another department where a work day is 12 hours. Due to the transfer, instead of having actual 10 days off, it is now reduced to 7.7 days. Two questions:

1) should the hours not be converted so that I would still get my 10 days? (92.5 hours/10)x12 to get my 10 days back?

2) I am trying to find this written somewhere in the labour code online but can’t seem to find this. Any one have an idea where I might find this?

I am not answering your questions, but to be fair to you. They should allow you to take those vacation days you already have or pay you $ on those days. Before you start working on the new department and start your vacation days at 0.

OP, best to talk/ask HR. They can answer your question.

OP, you got your arithmetic operations wrong in #1. They calculated 7.7d by (9.25h*10d)/12h.

I hope that answers your question.
