100% worth it. I bought one several months ago and I've been using it more often than my gaming PC.

Can it run DIABLO IV? Face With Tears Of Joy

I was holding back on buying this last month and then Blizzard sent out the email about Diablo pre order yesterday

Seriously debating

Pretty hot for the 64 GB version, $450, add roughly $200 to the cost for a fast 1 TB MicroSD and you're good to go, this is my setup. Steam Deck is well worth the money.

I was curious about this also.
Diablo 4 PC has controller support and there are ways to get other battle.net working on on the Steam deck, so all indications are positive

My Steam Deck Library is bigger than my PS3 library - I think you will be good but new demanding games being supported could be an issue but (for me) I care not.

I am playing backlogged games for DAYS and will probably die before anything from 2023+ touches is, lol.

Off topic, but where you planning on getting Diablo 4? Anywhere that's cheaper?

Pro tip: Steam lists on their store which games are officially compatible with the Steam Deck but not all games have been tested yet. A more comprehensive list can be found at ProtonDB where you have actual users report their experience with certain games and what Steam Deck settings run best. https://www.protondb.com/

800p 60hz ips screen which only covers 63.7% of sRGB gamut. Even the $200 trash phones you can find on Aliexpress have better display than this.

Everyone has different standards and requirements, but for me I won't pay a dime on a device with a trash display.

No, Valve said not for a while. They can't even easily switch to an OLED screen, according to them.

That's one of the things holding me back. Switch has a garbage display too and I couldn't play it much because of it.

One of the Ayaneo devices would be cool if they had SteamOS.

Yes it's disappointing that the display is not good, but the library of games and convenient form factor it gives you to play them is so incredibly good that it's still well worth buying in spite of it.

Worth ever penny... It's such a fun device even for homebrew (emulator stuff). You can't go wrong and update 3.5 is it? Is going fix some performance issues too.
