I just got the platinum edition for $57, came with all content. I played Civ5 extensively so I found it very easy to get a hold of all the mechanics. Worst part is that the UI is mirrored compared to Civ5. The map is at the bottom left and the city/unit details are on the right.

Price in the title please? 70% off doesn't really mean much when games are all different prices.

Thanks for the deal. I bought civ 5 three weeks ago for $30 and the 6 was $70 or so. My new laptop is coming in next week so I’m buying this one.

WinGameStore currently has the best deal going by quite a bit as it has both the standard and platinum steam keys for 80% and 75% off, $16.95 CAD and $41.49 CAD respectively (compared to steam at $23.99 CAD and $57.84 CAD).

Sid Meier's Civilization® VI ($16.95 CAD, purchased in US funds at $11.80):

Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI: Platinum Edition ($41.49 CAD, purchased in US funds at $29.45):

There are also a handful of other Civ VI expansions and addons on sale there:

You Mac users can also purchase Civ VI at MacGamesStore for the same discounts:

Saw the wingame deal last night and wondering if this is the time to buy. I thought it was on sale cheaper in January, but cannot confirm.

New to steam do you have to buy separate titles for mac or PC? I have a macbook, dies the game register to the hardware or something?

I grabbed Gathering Storm through the steam platinum edition (I had all of the other content) which ended up costing me $14.17.

I'm not completely sure how that works, but it seems like it takes 50% off of the current non-bundle price of whatever DLC you don't have.

This completes the set, but I'm still not sure if this will convince me to play through a whole game.... Civ V is still my goto.... Civ VI never really grabbed me for a full game let alone returning for more.

Long time Civ6 player here, if and when you get bored of the smaller maps do yourself a favor and download the YnAMP for Civ6.

Fyi after some searching it looks like some steam coding was found last month on a possible third expansion or at least some more upcoming dlc codes 'runner'.
