I think you are downvoted because your options is so board that it almost feel like a waste of time...

koffey wrote: Soooo.... Not exactly sure what you want. You want performance? You want looks? You want interior? Bro, picking a vehicle is fairly easy. You already know what your budget is. You know what you like. You're not getting a performance, great looking car with an amazing interior for $800 all in IMO. You'd have better luck getting hooked up with real life barbie that isn't a self centered bitch.

I also contributed to your downvote. While you are asking us what would we buy, you haven't at all bitten on anyone suggestion, just ponied an excuse to dismiss it.

Anyways. GL.
What is everyone going on about? So, I ask for other people's opinions (not sure why people have a hard time grasping that concept...) and then the second I don't agree with your option, I'm dismissive? I'm not ACTUALLY going to run out a buy a van because someone suggested it. You do understand that, right? That interior on the Volvo is hideous, it's something thy used in the late 2000's. Not my cup of tea, but thank you for the suggestion. The paint though, looks amazing.

I still haven't figured out how to multi-reply to a bunch of posts in one, so I'll just add this to those that we normal enough to offer their suggestions:

The M2 is sweet, and something I have been considering. I've also been eyeballing used 2016 or so M3's. which would be something I would consider. Just not sure if those can be leased as used?

2019 Lincoln Nautilus twin turbo also looks fantastic.

$800/month buys you a lot of cars. Almost everything under $70K MSRP (Just not Kia Stinger, lol). Sometimes even higher depends on incentives.

So it's hard to pick one unless you can narrow down the criteria, this is probably why you are getting downvoted.

You want something sporty or comfort? AWD? Best discount/incentives etc?

Are you over or under 6'?

I don't think he is asking anyone to pick one for him. Just asking what everyone else would choose, being in his position.

I like the Golf R, personally.

Is this a troll thread?

Gee next time I’m going to buy another toy I’ll start a thread

“Hey homies I got $200k that I’m comfortable with pissing away on a toy, but I have zero interest in cars... GO”

I'm sorry $800 a month seems so out of touch for you.

Things will pick up, chin up, mate!

He's like the wrong person to be targeting your post towards. I'm pretty sure he owns a car worth way more than your current car.

Just buy whatever you feel happy with. I just bought a Porsche, I suggest you do the same and ignore the downvotes. I got quite a few for my thread.

Ok bud, let's hear about your income and financial assets, so we can all compare and decide just how silly this lease will be

I did the math a while ago

100k income like we all have here:
Net take-home:
$71,921
Monthly:
$5,993
Semi-monthly:
$2,997
Bi-weekly:
$2,766

now we are supposed to spend no more than 15% of our take home income on a vehicle including gas, maintenance, note and insurance (898).
Now, lets take some things into consideration and uses some google averages for canadians. 20k a year average, 24.7mpg (9.5L), 1$ a liter, and $172.58 for insurance...

Totals
GAS: $158.33
Insurance: 172.58
Maintenance: X
Note: Y

Remainder; 567.09 to cover a note and maintenance.

a loaded corolla is $$558.71. I guess you can say, we are all 100k earners affording to drive corollas ;)
