Success for sofas that are cat scratch resistant?

Anyone have any reco's? thankfully my basement stuff is ready for the garbage and was crap t to begin with. Looking for something that would either be proof or not interesting that folks have had success with.

An all-steel park bench? :)

Almost nothing is resistant to a sufficiently determined cat.

The problem is not the sofa, it's the space for your cat. My cat doesn't scratch my furniture because it has enough of her own space and things to scratch so she doesn't need to destroy my stuff and doesn't.

Some tips that worked for me:

buying neutral colored cloth couches. grays, browns, beiges, etc.

put a cat tower or cat scratch toy beside or near the stuff you want to protect. we have 3 cat towers and our cat has stropped scratching our furniture, 90% of the time.

SW corner of the cou…
Upholster or wrap with organza. Or trade in the cat for a Ragdoll.
