Suggestions for Eyewear stores in Scarborough/Durham region with money back guaranty

I am looking to get a set of progressive glasses and bifocals made (both 1.67 index) and wanted to know stores who offer this and have a money back guaranty as well as some warranty on the frame and lenses.

I have had issues in the past with stores that buggered up the prescription, had poorly applied coatings, defective frames (bent/warped, poor quality) that they could not fix or replace and I had to "live with" because they won't return your money for their problems.

I was looking at Lens Crafters or Pearl Vision but none of them make a 1.67 Bifocal (FT28/ST28) lens and only the 1.59 polycarbonate which is thicker and not as clear. They also put that annoying blue light coating that causes a yellow colour tinge to all things which does not work for me as I do colour editing.

I don't have a Costco membership so I can't go to them either. Walmart Optical used to be good but their lab process has changed for the worse.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Money back is pretty rare find, imo.

Most optical stores will address your fitment issue or frame quality issue. Typically, they will correct your issues in the first 3 months without much dispute and afterwards, you may have to do some pushing to have your issues resolved to your satisfaction

Yes I know it is rare, but I have had issues with progressive lenses where the items they use have lots of distortion compared to others that I have had. When you are spending $600+ on something, you want to make sure you don't get shafted for the $$.

I got mine from first Markham place. Pretty well most of the optical stores there carry zeiss.

I had Nikon before and I found them a bit distorted … for me.

I bought mine at eyesmate optical in FMP multiple times in the last 6-7 yrs.
