Suggestions for a WIFI mesh system on Rogers Ignite (1Gbps) Internet

Hi guys!

I currently use rogers ignite (1Gbps) internet, using their modem and 1 complimentary wifi pod.
The modem is on the main floor and wifi pod is on the 2nd. I am in a 3 storey home so its not the greatest on the third and basement.
I have read that getting a mesh system will help improve the strength of the wifi..
What mesh system do you guys recommend?

thanks!

Can you pull or do you already have CAT5 cable pulled to each floor? Hint: in modern homes, telephone jacks may actually be strung with CAT5 cable. If not, you'll want a mesh system with dedicated wireless backhaul.

Some will suggest just getting access points, but having used a Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC LR, I found the config to be a pain in the ass and the range & reception overrated.

As for brands, TP-Link and D-Link are bottom-feeding garbage. I wouldn't use them if they were free. I'm using a Synology RT2600/MR2200 combo with wired backhaul, and I've been pretty happy with it.
Automatic down-votes: Eufy, D-Link, TP-Link, Newegg, Canada Computers, any Chinese-owned cellphone, laptop or IoT device.
