Yeah, if you get them to add in crushed oreo and a shot of chocolate hazel nut it is amazing. It may cost a buck or 2 more, but very good. I find their frappes don't have any ice at the end like a Tim's Ice Cap.

A whole 15 cents upcharge to a large is simply unacceptable. I budget 100 whole cents to get that crispy litre of sprite directly injected into my veins and having to scrounge up another 15 cents will ruin me.

I guess I will let my secret out lol

I have been getting $1 large fountain drink through the mobile app's "reorder" feature all winter long... it doesn't work with all McDs but it works at many locations.

It's a slippery slope. Do you remember Twoonie Tuesday at KFC? They slowly added 10c, 15c, 20c,... I haven't checked recently but it's probably like $5 now

EDIT> Out of curiosity I did a bit of digging. Found this random post from last year saying it's $3.69 now. Not as bad as I thought but no longer a good deal: https://www.foodneats.com/kfc-tuesday-s ... city-mall/

It's just a bit mind-boggling that it cost them as much as the increase for them to produce it.

I wouldn't have said anything but this thread is going to be in the forum for the next 4 months.

i love the summer deal for mccafe and roasted coffee, but i can never figure out why the pop for $1 is so popular. at no frills, pepsi and coke 2 liters usually are on sale at 97 cents per 2 liter bottle. no frills had a 97 cents 2 liter pepsi / coca cola deal last week. especially during the pandemic lockdowns, when there's no seating inside
