Summerlicious is back and tastier than ever! For two mouth-watering weeks, celebrate the city's culinary scene through three-course prix fixe lunch and dinner menus served at more than 220 of Toronto's top restaurants. From July 8 - 24, more than 220 of Toronto’s top restaurants, including 24 new participants, are offering three-course prix fixe menus at one of three price categories:

Lunch: $18 | $23 | $28

Dinner: $28 | $38 | $48

And the prices keeps going up... The $3 increase this year, what's the reason?

To think, just 5 years ago it was $35 for dinner at the higher end restaurants. These increases are even higher than inflation!

Cost of food all around has been overinflating in the past couple of years. If the $3 means the restaurants participating in Summerlicious can sustain the quality of food they're offering customers, then its not a huge amount to pay.

I remember it was still $45 per person for the higher end restaurants five years ago...I think $35 was ages ago lol

I don't see Cafe Boulud on the list this time. I missed out at winter and was hoping to try it this summer.

yeah for some reason, some of the summer menus are not as interesting as winter..

I liked the Midi Bistro ($28 dinner) from the previous summerlicious.
