Sunflower Farm Opening for Photographers in East GTA (Bowmanville) - Open as of July 20
Our local newspaper had an article yesterday about a local farm that is opening it's Sunflower Fields to the public this year.
Bragg Farms (braggfarms.ca - 3048 Concession Rd. 3, Bowmanville, Ontario) is a family farm that began in 1843. It apparently has specialized in wild bird feed and has decided to "rebrand" itself and enter the agri-tourism realm this year.
The article stated that the exact dates they will be opening their sunflower fields will be announced on their website as the crop matures.
I know every year there are RFDers who are looking for sunflower fields to photograph so I thought this news would be good to share. Please enjoy and treat this 150 year old plus family farm with the respect it deserves.

I've communicated with the farm and they have told me that General Admission will be $10 for Adults and $5 for Children (with Children up to 2 years old being free) plus tax. These rates are apparently offered for families and amateur photographers. They have rates and packages available for professional photographers as well. For more details it's probably best to contact the farm directly. I emailed them at [email protected]

I checked the farms website tonight and noticed that they have announced that the sunflower field will be open to the public beginning July 20 (hours of operation are 10AM until Sundown.
