Superstore is beginning to clear out their BBQ section.
Spotted the Weber Spirit E-210 2 burner BBQ on clearance for $299.94
Regular price for this is $600.
[EDIT] Edmonton area Superstore.

This is an older grill from about 2013, and it is not the same as the newer Spirit II E-210.
But those who have a Weber know that, a Weber is a Weber and comes with a 10 year warranty.
The cooking grates are cast iron.

Big ymmv. Care to share where in the country is this store?. Locally in EDM last Friday they had one new display model at $369 for the e210 and thought that was a searing deal! It's a great little unit having bought one earlier this year...

Is this at $300 worth it over the $450 I spent on the Spirit II version of the same grill in natural gas?

Definitely worth it. It's just a gas grill.

Try Maxi. The last Weber Spirit II on sale two weeks ago was $489 at Maxi Pointe Claire. Never saw this Spirit at Maxi but the demo was sold two days ago. Did pass the Maxi In St. Leonard it had some on Sunday evening. Usually the large Maxi have a large selection of BBQ. I had a Weber a little over a decade ago it lasted more than 30 years, a Sears Saturday Morning sale special in 1979. They are solid not like my Cuisinart from Canadian Tire.

Superstore stock is a giant YMMW overall. I tried asking a floor associate and customer service to check stock at other locations, and both of them told me that their system doesn't have the ability to look up inventory in any other location.

Respectfully ... I believe this is the new Spirit model.
I have been told that the Spirit II is discontinued and this is the replacement series.
My source is an HD manager.

I just bought the 215, what's the difference between this?

the text on the right in the photo says Spirit II (second generation) but the bbg clearly is a Spirit (first generation). Big difference is Spirit II has an open bottom now. Rest of the stats are similar.
Price seems great.

The key difference that I see is that the bottom is enclosed.
For a time, the Spirit and Genesis models had an "open concept" storage area underneath.
Newer versions are enclosed (back to the original style, actually).
Not a big deal for me.

Again, if my contact at HD is right, the "II" version of the Spirit is the older stock.
