Surfshark VPN. No logs, blazing speeds, killswitch, ad blocker etc. 63$/2years

Hey guys, been using this VPN for a little while and so far I'm really impressed.

I've had zero speed loss on their Montreal server and here are some of the features they are advertising :

- Kill Switch
- Multihop
- CleanWeb™ No ads, no trackers, no malware. Enhanced browsing experience for your peace of mind. (working great for me)
- No logs (British Virgin Isles)
- Unlimited devices
- Split Tunneling (you can set games and other apps not to be affected by the VPN)
- Torrenting support
- 30 day money back guarantee

Also their VPN supposedly works well in China and for Netflix USA and Japan.

Was looking into purchasing a VPN. Perfect timing! Thanks
The only thing I know for sure... is that I know nothing.

Windscribe is also a good VPN but this one has more features and it's a bit faster.

My PIA renewal is coming up next month so I might consider switching over to this or maybe NordVPN. Thanks for posting OP.

Pretty sure it does. Netflix has been confirmed functional by many.

Appears they're always $1.99 a month for two year term. IE: fake sale as is typical with vpns.

Not true at all. I've been monitoring their prices and even on Stack Social it was 65-69USD$ for 3 years for the longest of time.

1.99$USD per month is a Black Friday sale on their website. Also, I think it may be possible to renew at this rate.

All the same, they don't rate very highly on review sites. Appears the best providers at the moment are ExpressVPN ($$$) and NordVPN ($$). I'm doing fine just using the 10gb a month I get from Winscribe.

The short answer is that it looks like you would have to flash your router with DD-WRT in order to set it up with OpenVPN. I was curious myself because I have a TP-Link C8. I think I'd rather just buy an Asus that will do it out of the box. I don't have time to mess with tech stuff anymore.

Thank you.
Same with me - have no time to play with new Tech stuff.
I've see a VPN section in my router and was wondering if we can set it up there. Need to do my research I guess.
From last month or so Rogers internet speed is terrible now and I am thinking they are throttling it. We use a LOT.. a LOT!!

Update: TP-Link AC1900 - (C9) does not support OpenVPN so we need to flash it to DD-WRT.

No idea why. But here's a 4/5 review https://www.bestvpn.co/reviews/surfshark/

Their speeds are excellent, their support responded to my tickets in 60 minutes or less and their ad/malware blocker feature eliminated many annoyances I had on streaming websites.

Most consumer routers are likely to be way too slow to make the tunnel very useful unless you already have a slow internet plan and won't notice. They just don't have the horsepower to push that much encrypted traffic.

Slightly better feature wise and they are located in a jurisdiction where the authorities can't do anything.
