SURVEY: year-on-year condo maintenance/mgt fee increases

Just to get a rough idea of the mkt. Please state your area and the yoy %age increase (or decrease?).

(Toronto area):
2011-12: 17%
2012-13: 9%
2013-14: 3%
2014-15: 2%
2015-16: 8%

Too many variables...it's like asking annual home maintenance costs from people regardless of what standards (if any) they maintain to, how big, how old, what they have etc

But maintenance fees are largely driven by the reserve fund study requirements (in Ontario)...and utilities and of course number of units

Those never go down ..same for houses..so why would they ever go down

Condo built in late 2014. Amenities include meeting room, demonatration kitchen, gym, 2 bbqs on rooftop deck.

2015: $240ish
2016: $260ish (8-10% increase)

Top
