Wow....$22.50 for a quarter humming bird dinner. Swiss Chalet has really gone downhill over the years. Higher prices, smaller portions.

A garlic bread, some fries and a can of pop is worth $20 to you? Lol. I wouldn’t buy this “meal” even at $10 when Costco chicken is just as good, and cost like literally 5 times less.

ROFLOL 1 quarter chicken. You could literally finish the 1/4 in front of the delivery guy before he even walks to his car.

It's not, but three rotisserie chickens is more than some people need. If you have a family then the Costco deal is great but not everyone has that. For a single person, this isn't a terrible deal when compared to similar types of restaurants. Imagine going to the Olive Garden or Boston Pizza for a $20 pasta meal, when you can probably make the same thing at home for under $10.

So you value those items to be the same as 11 chicken quarters? No wonder Swiss Chalet is able to find suckers to pay so much.

I never said I valued it the same. If I want a filling meal after a long day at work and don't want to waste an hour of my life at Costco and then preparing sides, this works. I also don't want to be eating chicken for days on end, so three chickens is overkill. As a one off meal, Swiss works a lot of single people. If it were me, I'd probably upgrade to the double leg meal.

I do Swiss maybe once every few months, not very often.

I want to say 6-7 years ago I remember ordering the chicken + rib combo for probably around this amount ($22) thinking I'll save the ribs for another meal. I am not even someome who eats a lot and even I had no problem finishing it all in one sitting. Definitely not the greatest value - I realize it's a different preparation but I'd much rather just take the same $22 and buy some Popeyes.

As for this 'deal', it's showing as $21.99 on the website so you're applying a coupon to pay $.50 more?

Most supermarkets sell a meal for about the same money, only its a whole BBQ chicken and sides. Longos is good and Metro's family dinner includes mammoth chicken (1kg) plus 2 sides for 24 bucks. I buy SS powder to make their sauce.
Just sayin'....
