it used to be 14.99, and then they raised it to 17.99 after the min wage increases.

They used to have $15.99 2 can Dine for CAA members, but that dropped off starting this year. I've been a member for years and went in January for the first time and they begrudgingly gave it to me because they're marketing materials hadn't been changed yet. Pensive Face

Probably the only way this is a good deal - there is no way one of these fills up a normal human being. Maybe 2.

in a world where consumer conscious about healthy eating and maximizing value is priority... its amazing how swiss chalet is sourcing its chicken. looks like little bird

I suggest you get the a la carte whole chicken instead - you didn't come to SC for their pie, right? It'll be cheaper this way, and you get way more chicken. If you're on a budget then buy a grocery store bbq chicken and grab a sc sauce from sc.

2 Budgie birds (don't forget $1.50 ea. extra for white meat) dry fries and flat Coke...30 bucks with tip for the elderly waitress. Coming to a Keg near you soon....

I used to really enjoy going to Swiss Chalet for years; until last year, when I went out for 2 can dine deal-- when we received our plates, I started to laugh at the small chicken portion ; it certainly didn't look anything like their menu pictures-- haven'y been back since. We both left hungry and almost 30 bucks poorer! Another greedy franchise heading south!

Never been to Swiss Chalet nor Nando's.

What type of menu do each have? Strictly chicken and maybe fries?

Overall other than size is the taste good for each?
