It's a good deal for Swiss Chalet, of course like anything else you can make it or get things from other stores for cheaper.

Thanks for letting people know OP.

If you're going to eat at the restaurant then it might make sense, but if you're taking out then no sense at all, you could go to your local Walmart and buy everything ready made for maybe $12 max

I don't normally enjoy the Thanksgiving/Festive feasts from Swiss Chalet but I've been overloaded with so many ads for this and now I kind of want to go get one.

I'm disappointed no one has mentioned the over brined Costco as a substitute yet.

You can say that for every deal. Starbucks had free coffee today, did you take a used cup out of garbage and bring it to starbucks as reuseable cup to get free coffee?

Fries at McDonalds - go to walmart buy a potato 20 cents.
coffee at starbucks - grind beans at home, boom done. free water
beyond meat burger - grind up tofu in a blender, squish into patty, boom cheap fake burger

What's wrong with no name ketchup? Most brands are probably just Heinz under a different label

This isn't the same though. It's not like they are some high end restaurant that makes everything from a scratch...

The stuffing comes out of a package; just add water

The cranberry sauce comes ready to eat, out of a bucket

The mashed potatoes come out of a package; just add water.... Then they are portioned out into plastic bags that are thrown into the microwave when an order comes in

Pie comes frozen, just defrost and serve

Even the chalet sauce is just powder + water, same stuff you can get at the grocery store

I would be ashamed to bring this home to my family as a Thanksgiving "feast". Maybe for a quick lunch.

get the a la carte whole chicken with 1 large sauce for about $20. You wont starve with a whole chicken.

likely cuz the chain cant compete at your location. Their patron likely has an average age of mid 50s, and they arent attracting new customers (the younger crowd).
