Switching to ios. Is this plan on telus good or should I wait

I have decided to try iOS after being an android user for this many years. I may like iphone or hate it, I am willing to take a risk. I am planning to buy iphone 12, 128 gb. Telus has this upgraded now; 30 dollars + $ 65/15gb per month ( Bring it back 350). They offer 150 dollar discount+ no activation fee($45)+ $ 55 one time bill credit. Also I get a $5 discount per month family discount.
Should I take this chance or wait for deals at Walmart or bestbuy? I can't decide as I am not sure if it is good deal.
Thanks in advance

I cannot recommend people go to Telus. They deliberately throttling their users and I'm so surprised people are not containing about it.

After switching to Telus, I noticed that streaming services and social media are constantly buffering. Even if it loads, it streams at low quality. I started a thread on this to see if others experienced this and they were. Telus even openly me toons they "optimize their network". You can do a speed test and it'll be like 500mbps+ but once you open up something like IG and click on a story, it'll always be loading.

Op, I'm in the same boat for operating systems. Been with Android since pretty much the start but I'm leaving now.

As for networks, Im with Telus right now and it has been ok. They have a pretty large area and decent speeds. It is rarely down which is great. I don't need that level of coverage though where I live and work so I'll be switching to freedom.

As for the price, 95/month plus taxes pushes you over 100 a month for a single phone that has several versions above it.

And on top of that you need to return it? I'd pass on anything that requires me to send it back.

You could look into an open box iPhone 12 128gb from best buy ($1050) and may be downgrade to a cheaper BYOD plan if you don't need 15gb of data.

Other wise it's not so bad if you need 15gb and have no access to the YMMV plans when you calculate the total 2 year cost.
