Synology NAS Advanced RMA

Has anyone done an RMA with Synology? My DS918+ crapped out this weekend and I need a replacement. However they’ll put a hold on my credit card for $550 USD which is concerning before I’m not sure if when they release the hold they’ll charge me the FOREX fees 2.5%
How good is their customer service ? Thanks

I used their RMA 5 years ago. They never sent me the product back.

You can imagine how much business I gave them since.

Did they ever do anything about it? Many people claim to have had no problems with it

Got a release of hold, no forex so it was fully refunded
