It’s quieter than most hair dryers but it’s also not as powerful. There’s a full size version. I can’t tell the difference with the nanoe thing, but I’m a dude with short hair.

The build quality also feels better than a $39 ConAir from Walmart. The tip doesn’t fall off every time I bump it.

Costco has this for $85 or $120 for the full size.

I have the full size and it's good.

This is basically a travel version, light but not as powerful as the big version. And I call these north american versions because the Japanese one I have from a decade ago is more powerful and lighter than the big version we have here, but that was $300 from what I recall.

I bought a conair testarossa from costco a few years ago. Never had to look back - best hair dryer the price IMO

Full size version works great. Haven't tried the smaller one though.

Keep in mind while the US full size is not foldable, the Japanese full-size model is also foldable for traveling.
Got ours from Japan in Don Quijote two years ago for about $150 CAD.
Best deal (from almost 20 years ago): 2 boxes (20 reams of 500) of HP 92 white papers from staples for $7.00
Back when staples price match and takes off 50% of the price difference. (2004)

I picked this up from OpenBox last year for like $50 I think. It's actually a great little hair dryer that does the job better than most, but the biggest oversight IMO is not including a dedicated cool air button. You have to slide the power switch to get to the function which kind of defeats the purpose.

It's decent. I have the full size and have the nanoe for trips. It doesn't output a huge amount of air and I find out like maybe 50% as effective as the full size. Good for travel but I wouldn't use it as a main

I have the full size one bought from Costco. It was my best hairdryer until I bought a Dyson.

+1 I was about to type this exact post.

I also have the big one I only bought it cause I used this mini one in a hotel and it was pretty good and one of the reasons I bought the big one. But yah.. Dyson > *
