Free T-Mobile 90 day, unlimited data trial

Deal Link:
Retailer:
T-Mobile
T-Mobile has a free 30 day, 30 GB test drive trial of their network. You need to have an iPhone with esim capability to take advantage of this deal (and a USA iTunes account to download their app but this is easy to do). Otherwise you need to order their wifi hotspot for Android devices but I don't know if that's possible from Canada.

> EDIT: looks like they have changed the program to 90 days and unlimited data now. Also added Android support!

Perfect for trips to the States. You can do the trial once every year now.

Here is T-Mobile's FAQ:

--------
I was just able to activate from Canada on iOS. Here's a summary of the steps.

1) Download the T-Mobile app from the US App Store (you'll need a US app store account)
2) Turn on VPN, us a US location (I was on wifi when I did all of this) -- Not sure if this is required, just did it reading of other's experiences.
3) On the T-Mobile app, go through the Network Pass sign up. You'll need a valid US phone number and address. The phone number isn't verified with a text or anything, so you can make something up as long as it is valid. Others have reported addressed can't be re-used so if you can an "invalid address" error, try something else.
4) Go through the steps and install the eSIM. As soon as you install the eSIM, the 90 day trial starts. You will be assigned a US number.
EDIT: 5) When you arrive in the USA, remember to turn on your eSIM (Look into your CDN carrier details on roaming if you want to turn off your home SIM)

EDIT: You can sign up again for another pass after six months. .

EDIT: Lastly, I noticed in the fine print that tethering is not available on this network pass. UPDATE: Despite the fine print, tethering works perfectly.

**TIP**
I just came back from the US and like everyone else on apple it says im outside of US. What solved my problem is using or activating a US esim or sim first so it acknowledges you are in the US. I used Mint mobile and subscribed to their 1 week 250mb free. After I used that up I was able to connect to tmobile without a problem.

GPS Spoofing App
Download an application that can spoof your GPS location. This is fairly easy to do.
I used the free trial of Tenorshare iAnyGo. It offers two spoofing options (MAC/WIN), and you can find it at https://www.tenorshare.net/products/ian ... phone.html.
OR
I also used the free trial of iToolab AnyGo. It's available for both iOS and Android (MAC/WIN), and you can find it at https://itoolab.com/gps-location-changer/.

I bought Samsung Z Flip3 over Christmas. How can I make it work on that. Are you suggesting, get the unit and get it shipped to US address and use that unit to hot spot data to other devices

Correct. If you scroll down this page, right after where it says get the app, it shows the device and let's you fill out the info to have it shipped:

Near You
I used this on an iPhone via eSIM on a week trip to Disneyland. Coverage is great, only a few dead spots throughout the whole trip. Activation on the app is easy.

Now if we can only get multiple trials...

if only they enabled data roaming on trial plan

Edit : I was able to sign up and latched onto Telus network but it doesn't let me use either data or call services which is understandable as there is no roaming enabled im assuming

What information are you all using to sign-up? I tried using hotel information and it said invalid address.

I used crossborder pickup address and it gave the error. Also the app doesn't seem to download due to region lock.

It will not allow you to use an address that has been used before, so hotels, forwarders, etc. will most likely not work. You need to download the app from Apple US Store.
This only work in US. You cannot trial more than one either it seems. I used on iPhone 12 then tried on 13 , no go. Think its tied to the Apple ID used or something.

I know you can temp suspend an esim on iOS. Can you then add another being this T-Mobile? I have an esim plan on Shaw currently.
Follow up, it looks like iOS can store multiple esims.

Anyone able to order the hotspot successfully. I placed an order and got an email to verify the email. But, then nothing after that. Just a success message.

Not sure if there should be an order confirmation email.
