T430 ssd size

I bought a t430 a few years back. The previous owner replaced main hdd with ssd.

Just found out the ssd is dead and i try to get a new one, but get conflicted information about ssd size, could anyone confirm its 7 or 9.5mm?

I am talking about the main ssd (originally hdd), not the only to replace cd drive
Thanks

All you need to do is take the SSD that you have now and measure it. Generally speaking, though, all the 2.5" SSDs I've seen are 7mm, and if 9.5mm is required, there is a spacer "stuck" on top of the SSD.

If you want to be cool, you can (also) install an mSATA SSD, although it will run at SATA2 speeds. I like the SSD + HDD combo :D (and with an optical drive, you've got a triple thread :D ).
