So you can only visit each location once... Is there a limit on the number of tacos u can buy?

I can totally eat like a dozen of these. 🤣Face With Tears Of Joy

Yeah, the wording is ambiguous. Is it only 2-for-1 on exactly two tacos for the price of one, or is it unlimited for a single visit at each taqueria? Lucha Libre and Chancho are right by my place, so I would get this if the latter condition applies. I've heard good things about Bandidas also for veggie/vegan options.

It's funny how they are trying to get us to pay for coupons now....

Yup I bet this is gonna be a pretty sad coupon book too. They will probably place a limit on the number of tacos that you can buy. There's a complete lack of details all around.

Even if you have to pay for the Taco ticket, it's still a good deal if you use it enough. Keep in mind these aren't giant corporate chains like Subway or Taco Bell, where the food is junky and 2-for-1 coupons should be expected on a regular basis. We're talking about actual good one-off neighborhood restaurants with good food.

I got their beef buddies pass last year and it was a decent deal, savings of around $40.
This doesn't seem like a good deal at all, most people would be ordering at least 4 tacos so making a trek to one taqueria for two tacos and then spending more out of pocket makes this deal COLD.

true but you had a whole book and you got buy get 1 entrees or you would often be able to make up the cost of the book in 1 outing ... here is literally just buy 1 taco get 1 taco. You actually need to go to 3 or 4 restaurants to break even and then of course they have the audacity to ask you to tip generously and buy lots of sides.

I can say for sure bandidas is not hurting for money

They said this

Thanks for your interest in the TacoTicket and sorry for the confusion. The TacoTicket is valid 1 use at each location until May 15. Some locations (Bandidas & Top Rope Birria) are offering promotions if you return to their locations with a used TacoTicket. You can find those details on our website.

Obvious troll there are 12 Taco Bell in entire BC

I haven’t looked at list but goes til may so you’d break even for sure. Mexican food is pretty decent in Vancouver. Lots of Mexicans here as they don’t require visas and I imagine rest of Canada is too cold

Closest Taco Bell to Vancouver downtown is 32 km away. Pretty lame joke, can’t see location but let me guess Toronto

This is a super cold deal considering:

1) you can only use it once per location
2) have to pay for the coupon book
3) 2 tacos isn't going to fill you up

But everything was super ambiguous so can't really blame OP. Outside of influencers, I'm quite confused who would actually buy this.

Hi! We are ‘The Real Beef Buddies’ behind the TacoTicket and we appreciate the interest this is generating here – and that there are some questions!

The idea behind the Vancouver TacoTicket is to support local taco shops during their quieter months by driving new customers to spots they might have otherwise never known about, and to generate some “buzz” in the taco community. We worked in collaboration with the business owners to develop an offering that they could support financially, while still bringing value and excitement to customers.

The TacoTicket gets you 1 free taco with the purchase of at least 1 taco at each location. It can only be used once per location, although some locations are offering secondary promotions for return customers. Specific menu items vary at each spot: some tacos cost as little as $3 each, while others are upwards of $7. If you visit all 11 locations, you’ll save roughly $40-$50 and hopefully have been introduced to some awesome new restaurants and have a fun time exploring!

We hope that helps clarify any of the questions. You can find more details at www.tacoticket.com. We genuinely appreciate the support and we know the participating restaurants do too.

Also, we mean no offense to Taco Bell – we go often, and believe the Crunchwrap Supreme might be the best piece of fast food ever created!

Yeah you are right sir it's a lame joke. Glad Taco Bell is not included here. Taco Bell doesn't make you buy coupon to get BOGO. You could have just drove there, buy two and get two free

taco-bell-hot-buy-2-get-2-free-tacos-monday-2519387/

Not sure when downtown became the centre of the universe. I am only 20 mins away from a Taco Bell.

To OP, Don't get me wrong I do support these kinda movements but can only go to each location once kinda not preferable. It's omicron season, really not a good practice to drive all around the city to spread or collect COVID.

Majority of the taco passport locations are downtown Vancouver or just outside of it.

Go hide in you’re basement if all you are going to do is troll food and drink and say oh it’s omnicron season. Even insane Ontario is reopening restaurants.
