Is it OK to use Aspen coil with American Standard A/C ?

My A/C installer told me he use Aspen indoor coil with American standard outdoor unit. Is this acceptable and is it good to go in the long run in terms of efficiency and reliability? Does anybody have any previous experience with A-S /Aspen combination? Thanks in advance.Tom
