Just look at hot deal, amazon deals are all over the place . Do we need one deal per thread?

For the Contests section, make it mandatory for the titles to include whether we need to signup or become a member of the site in order to enter the contest. It can be a short tag or something like [NOSIGNREQ] [SIGNREQ].
Last Black Friday, it was a total cluster mess of threads all over. Especially Cell Phones categories with several deals being posted in both forums (by diffeeent people of course)What purpose does Boxing Day forum serve if everyone just continues to post in regular Hot Deals sections?
Just my opinion. Sifting though thousands of posts, regardless if you're using the search feature is time consuming, frustrating, and annoying. It's standard practice on Reddit to purge and lock "full" megathreads.
Question to all: despite years of complaints the mods have chosen to duplicate forums yet again. So do we need to duplicate posts?

There is an Amex ad autoplaying with sound on the top banner this morning. Very bad to have (I'm sure it was not done by choice), please complain or request to have it blocked. I often browse at work and I'm sure many others do too.
